How to Donate to a Cause

1. Collect:
   • We accept all cell phones; old, new, broken and scratched.
   • Find a current cause to donate your used cell phones to in the Cause Community.
   • Use the share button on the cause's page to join forces with your friends and collect more phones.
2. Donate:
   • Before you donate, make sure you register (We'll need to email you a donation receipt).
   • Just click "Donate to this Cause" on their page to start your donation.
   • The cause receives money for every single cell phone donated, regardless of condition.
3. Ship:
   • When you've completed the donation process, print off the mailing label and ship in your phones.
   • If your phone is able to be reused, the cause receives a resale credit, so package it carefully.
   • If you have 20 phones or more to donate, we'll send you a free USPS shipping label! 
   • All cell phones donated are shipped to and recycled at one of MPC's processing facilities.
4. Track:
   • Check the "Funds Raised" totals on your Cause's page to see the minimum dollar amount based on the number of phones donated through the website. Actual funds raised may be higher due to resale credit.

 How to Start a Cause

1. Create your Cause Community Page:
   • Fill out the "Start a Cause Details" on the registration page (You'll tell us where to send your checks).
   • Click Start a Cause and follow the steps to build your webpage, make sure you hit submit for your cause to go live. 
   • You’ll receive a confirmation email with a link to your page and tips to get started.
2. Promote your Cause:
   • Use the share button on your page to share your Cause with friends.
   • Find marketing materials, tips, and guides to collecting in the Resource tab of the My Account section.
3. Collect & Donate to your own Cause:
   • To collect cell phones for your own cause, just click "Donate to this Cause" from your page and follow the donation process.
   • If you have 20 phones or more, we'll send you a free USPS shipping label.
4. Track your Results & Get Paid:
   • See how many phones have been donated to you and how much money you’ve raised on your page.
   • You'll get money for every single cell phone donated, regardless of condition.
   • If donated phones are able to be reused, you'll also receive a resale credit.
   • Checks are sent monthly until you decide to stop your Cause.
